Lois Bisbey was born February 12, 1919, in Fort Dodge, IA, the daughter of Elmer F. and Ruth Schwaubbauer Bisbey. She married Walter A. Siwy September 19, 1945, in Chicago, IL. They travelled a lot through the years. He died December 23, 1996. Lois worked sales for Younkers, did window design, sales, and style shows for JC Penney, and accounting for Sears & Roebuck. Lois lived life with joy and kindness and deep devotion to her family and friends. She loved entertaining and anything social: card clubs, Home and Garden, her sorority, women's organizations, neighbors, and decorating. She was a true social butterfly. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Andrea (Dale) Siefker, Moline; granddaughter, Sarah (Tim) Wolfe, East Moline; great grandchildren, Robbie, Kate, and Jack Wolfe; sister, Elnora Benson, Rock Island, IL, and brother, Dwight Bisbey, Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Allan and William Bisbey. The family would like to thank the staff at Hope Creek Care Center for their exceptional care.
