Lois I. Trudgeon, 82, of East Moline, IL, crossed over to the other side of life, Monday April 12, 2010 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Memorial services will be 3PM Thursday at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline is handling arrangements. Lois was born February 19, 1928 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of John and Mabel Florence Bruce. She was raised by Arthur and Gertrude Pecher. She married Ted Trudgeon Sr. June 15, 1946 in St. Louis. He died in 1989. They had farmed and been resort operators for many years. Lois was a talented artist. She had been a member of the Left Bank Art League. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Roger Johnson of Clinton, IA; son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Jean Trudgeon of Ewen, MI; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, She is preceded in death by her parents, adoptive parents, and her husband.
