Lorene DeKoster, 75, Colona, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Unity Point Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services are 1:30 PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is from 12:30 PM until service time. Memorials may be made to the family.

Lorene Bigley was born, April 12, 1943 in DesMoines, IA, the daughter of William and Della (Cornelison) Bigley. She married Everett "Wes" Weston in 1959. He passed away in 1983. She married Daniel DeKoster on August 3, 2005. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, swimming at the YMCA and especially being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Dan, children; Brenda Weston, Savannah GA, Lori (Scott) Taulbee, Colona, Tara Gonzalez, Silvis and Erika Weston, Terre Haute, IN, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and sister; Carol Lorenz, DesMoines.

In addition to her husband Wes, she was preceded in death by son David Weston, her parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
