Loretta Sparrowgrove Roseman, 78, Moline, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Trinity Rock Island. Funeral services are 10AM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 2-5PM Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bishop's Small Dog Rescue, Inc., PO Box 215, Wyanet, IL 61379. Loretta was born on January 23, 1939 in Marengo, IA, the daughter of E. James and Emma N. (Beard) Sparrowgrove. She married L. Dale Roseman on August 19, 1963. He passed away on November 21, 1996. Loretta worked at and was co-owner of Dale Cycle Shop, Rock Island, IL for 35 years. She later worked for 10 years at Big 10 Mart in Carbon Cliff, IL. Loretta loved to fish, crocheting, reading, baking, cooking, Circa 21, going to the races and riding motorcycles. She also enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers and had over five hundred sets. Survivors include her sons, Dale L. (Linda) Roseman, Utah, Mark Roseman, Moline, and William (Cindy) Roseman, Prophetstown, IL; 8 granddaughters; 2 grandsons; 8 great grandsons; 1 great granddaughter and 1 on the way; plus 1 heavenly grandchild; sisters, Marjorie Constance, Moline, Karen Pratt, Aledo and Judy Lopez, East Moline. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred (Bob) Siders; brothers, Ronald and Kenneth Sparrowgrove; brothers-in-law Terry Pratt and Reese Constance.
