Funeral services for Lori K. Thomas, 44, East Moline, are 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at St. Mary Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. A memorial fund has been established. Lori died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at River Park Healthcare Center, Rock Island. Lori was born Jan. 9, 1963, in Moline, the daughter of Frank and Sara Munos Thomas. She married David Stafford in 1981. They later divorced. Lori had worked at the former Iowa-Illinois Gas & Electric Co. and at Hardee's Restaurant, East Moline. Lori loved her children very much. She enjoyed playing cards and being with people. Lori made friends everywhere she went. Survivors include her daughter, LaKendra Stafford, Rock Island; son, David Stafford, East Moline; granddaughter, Laeana; her mother, Sara Fields, East Moline; and sisters, Christine Griffin, East Moline, and Rita (spouse, Elroy) Thomas, East Moline; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
