Lorraine Coberley, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Moline, Illinois and most recently a resident of Peoria, IL and St. Joseph Nursing Home, Lacon, Illinois, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 after a prolonged series of illnesses. Burial was at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Mrs. Coberley, born Lorraine Ezela Cramer June 2, 1918 in Iowa the daughter of Claude and Lula Sarah (Collins) Cramer, married Elbert Coberley on Feb. 16, 1941. During WWII she worked for International Harvester; following her husband's return from the war, she was a mother and homemaker. She was a past member of Faith Lutheran Church, Moline, IL. She is survived by three children (spouse): Ted (Barbara) Coberley of Denver, Colo., Mike Coberley of Portland, Oregon, and Terry (Ron) Wisecarver of Coal Valley, IL; thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
