Lorraine J. Lynch, 72, East Moline, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Rock Island Nursing and Rehab, Rock Island. Graveside services are 12:30 PM Monday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 AM until Noon at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. A memorial fund has been established. Lorraine Fortier was born on January 15, 1944 in New York, the daughter of Raymond and Edna (Gingrass) Fortier. She married John M. Lynch on May 15, 1977 in New York. She had worked as a meat wrapper at Bohack's and later at Macy's in New York. Lorraine enjoyed playing bingo and loved her grand babies. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Scott) Streitmatter, Silvis, grandchildren, Shelby, Gavin and Ronald, her sister Patricia Lord, East Moline and many nieces and nephews.
