Funeral services for Lorraine E. Wieland, 85 of East Moline, IL, will be 1:00PM Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30PM. Mrs. Wieland died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport, IA. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, where she had been a member. Lorraine Ballegeer was born December 16, 1924 in East Moline, IL, the daughter of Emiel and Marie Cappaert Ballegeer. She married Harold Wieland August 7, 1951 in Milan, IL. She had worked for the former International Harvester, East Moline and Rock Island, IL. She retired from John Deere, East Moline in 1983 after nearly 20 years of service. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Harold Wieland of East Moline; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cindy Wieland of Coal Valley, IL; grandchildren (spouse), Jennifer Wieland, Chris Hehmeyer, Matt Hehmeyer, and Jessica (Andy) Danek; great grandson, Thomas Reich; sister, Darlene Clark of Lehigh Acres, FL.
