Louise "Lulu" Munoz, 64, of East Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at OSF St. Francis, Peoria, IL, after an unfortunate illness. Private graveside service will be held at St Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, at a later date.

Lulu was born December 22, 1959, in Moline, and raised by her loving mother, Mercedes Sandoval Munoz.

She was a graduate of United Township High School.

Survivors include her brother, Mario Munoz, East Moline; sister, Laura Nevarez, Moline; nephew, David Nevarez, Moline; niece, Erica Nevarez, Moline; great nieces, Brianna (Jason) Simmons, Cassandra Nevarez, and Eve Nevarez; and great great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.

The family would like to thank the entire staff from Hope Creek, East Moline, the OSF team, and all the family and friends who helped with Lulu's care.
