LuAnn Dokas, 62, Silvis, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, Madison, WI. Funeral services are 9 AM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 3-6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Disabled American Veterans.

LuAnn Tusler was born September 5, 1956 in Moline, the daughter of Albert and Betty (Larsen) Tusler. She marred James L. Dokas on October 22, 1983 in Moline. LuAnn had worked in the cafeteria at Glenview Middle School, East Moline. She enjoyed cross-stitch, needlework and playing card games, and Yahtzee. She was truly a generous woman. She gave without hesitation, always making sure people were okay. The greatest joy in LuAnn's life was her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Jim, daughters; Rebecca (Jeremy) Barr, East Moline, Christa Dokas, Silvis and Elizabeth (Jesse) Cochrane, Grand Rapids, MI, grandchildren; Jordan, Carly, William, Gabrielle and Macy, her mother Betty Tusler, Moline, and sisters, Debra (Bill) Sellers, Colona and Patricia "Lynn" (Randy) Reeves, Rock Island.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Mary Lue Anderson.
