Funeral services for Lucille K. "Luci" Rasmussen, 63, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00AM Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona, IL. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. Mrs. Rasmussen died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at her home, surrounded by her family. A memorial fund has been established for her grandchildren's education fund. Luci Woodard was born January 26, 1947 in Sunnyside, WA, the daughter of Carl and Renee Charvet Woodard. She was a graduate of Alleman High School Class of 1965. She received her Nursing Degree from Black Hawk College, Moline. She married Tom Rasmussen April 26, 1969 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. She had worked for Dr. George Cook, East Moline and later for Genesis East, Davenport, IA for 24 years. She and her husband had enjoyed camping together for nearly 41years, traveling all over the country. She loved the outdoors, especially the mountains. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Tom Rasmussen of Silvis; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanine and Peter Carlin of Silvis, Anne and Eric Knorr of Chicago, IL, Kathy and Chuck Cunningham of Colona; grandchildren, Morgan, Brooke, Brennen and Owen Cunningham, Thomas and Elizabeth Carlin; her mother, Renee Woodard of Silvis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene and John Charvet of El Cerrito, CA, Jo Ann and Mike Davis of Silvis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Dee Woodard of Pitkin, CO, Lynn and Joann Woodard of Carbon Cliff, IL, Carl and Becki Woodard of Carbon Cliff.
