Luke J. Minick, 39, Moline, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at home. Funeral services are 10 AM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. Memorials may be made to the family.

Luke was born on September 11, 1979 in Silvis, the son of Thomas and Marcia (DeBlieck) Minick. He graduated from Moline High School, Class of 1996. He was working at Shell on Avenue of the cities. Luke enjoyed shooting pool and hanging with his friends. He was a sports fan, especially of Norte Dame and the Oakland Raiders. Luke loved being with his family, and spoiling his nephews and niece.

Survivors include his parents, Tom and Marcia, Moline, sister, Octavia Tousseau, Moline, her children; Thomas, Moziah, Donavyn Tousseau and Nano Sepeda, aunts and uncles; Ken and Patty DeBlieck, Moline and Al and Teri Minick, Lake Villa, IL and their families.
