Funeral services for Madlin R. Weideman, 77, Silvis, are 9AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a liturgy will be read at 6:30PM. Mrs. Weideman died Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to her church. Madlin Howerton was born July 2, 1929 in Mooresville, Missouri, the daughter of Preston and Lottie (Frazier) Howerton. She married Raymond Weideman, October 14, 1950 in Moline. Madlin was a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with family and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a fabulous sense of humor and was always working on a word search puzzle. Survivors include her husband of 56 years; Raymond, daughters and sons-in-law Norma Jean and Jerry Fry, East Moline, and Mary Ellen and Jim Spooner, Colona, son Ray Weideman Jr., Newton IA, grandchildren; Michael William Fry, John Curtis Fry, Christopher Gerald Fry, Amy Weideman and Kaleigh Joan Spooner, great grandchildren; Sara Michelle Fry and John Curtis Fry Jr., and sisters Mary Snook, Belton, MO and Betty Curtis, Raytown, MO Online condolences may be left for the family at www.vanhoe.com
