Funeral services for Mae E. Braet, 89, Moline, are 10 AM Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Mrs. Braet died Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church. Mae Rogiers was born October 4, 1916 in Moline, the daughter of Theophil and Elizabeth(Vande Genachte) Rogiers. She married Maurice Braet, September 1, 1937 in Moline. He died December 14, 1970. In earlier years, may worked in the cafeteria at Glenview Elementary and had cleaned for several area physicians. Mae loved playing euchre, traveling and dancing. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Debra and John Foret, Laguna Negril, CA and son and daughter-in-law James and Adrianne Braet, Silvis, nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
