Funeral services for Marcia L. Cathcart, 71, of Peoria, IL, formerly of the Quad Cities, will be noon Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 10 am until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Ms. Cathcart passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Richard L. Owens Hospice House, Peoria.

Marcia was born March 13, 1952, in Macomb, IL, the daughter of Donald and Hattie Bartkowski Cathcart. She was a Radiologic Technologist for over 40 years. She had worked in 4 different states over the years and had been an instructor at the Palmer Clinic in Rock Island and Moline. She enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing and gardening.

Survivors include her siblings, Michael (Linda) Cathcart, East Moline, Jane (Scott) Conner-Gettes, WI, Dennis (Laurie) Zehr, Peoria; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Craig Zehr.
