Funeral services for Marcia Rae Frakes, 71, of Sunset Beach, NC, formerly of Moline, IL, will be 10:00 am Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to service Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Frakes went home to be with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 1, 2018, at her home. Marcia Gustafson, was born November 23, 1946, in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Lester and Margaret Samuelson Gustafson. She married Larry Frakes April 16, 1966, at the First Baptist Church, Silvis, IL. She worked for Carpentier & Marshall, Moline, IL, and later worked as a library assistant at Dubuque Senior High School, Dubuque, IA. She was a member of First Baptist Church, North Myrtle Beach, NC. Survivors include her husband, Larry; children, Amy (Scott) Schaberg, Fuquay-Varina, NC, and Aron (Tracy) Frakes, Lakeview, MN; grandchildren, Holly, Ethan, Heath, Noah, Austin, Owen, and Jackson; siblings, Gary (Janet) Gustafson, Orion, IL, Kirk (Debi) Gustafson, Moline, and Chris (Bruce) Barker, East Moline.
