Funeral services for Marcia A. Smith, 59, of East Moline, IL, will be 1:00PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation will be 3:00-6:00PM Sunday at the funeral home. Marcia died Thursday, November 29, 2012 at her home. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline, where she was a member. Marcia Felkner was born September 11, 1953 in Moline, IL. The daughter of Robert and Phyllis Peterson Felkner. She was a graduate of St. Ambrose College, Davenport, IA. She had been a registered respiratory therapist for 35 years. She worked for the former Moline Public and Lutheran Hospitals, Moline, IL, and most recently at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Survivors include her husband, Harold "Deke" Smith, East Moline; sons, Patrick Smith, New York, NY and Adam Smith Champaign, IL; her parents, Robert and Phyllis Felkner, East Moline; brother, Alan (Connie) Felkner, Bloomington, MN; sister, Susie (Steve) Kennedy, Freeport, IL; several nieces and nephews.
