Margalene E. "Dee Doe" Snyder, 92, of East Moline, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Nadine and Ray Culley, Silvis. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at her church, Faith Walk World Outreach Center, Silvis, with her grandson, Pastor Scott Culley officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be Friday (today), 4-8 PM at Faith Walk World Outreach Center. Margalene was born Nov. 16, 1912, to Glenn and Bessie (Olson) Retherford, in Joy, IL. She Married Rodney L. Snyder, Sept 8, 1932 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death September 10, 1992. Survivors and spouses include: her daughter, Nadine (Ray) Culley of Silvis; granddaughter, Joni (Kirk) Severs of Homewood, IL; grandsons, Pastor Scott (Tonya) Culley of Silvis, Jeff (Emily) Snyder of Geneseo, IL: 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Beatryce Cooper of Monmouth, IL. Her son Dennis preceded her in death March 13, 1990. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Genesis Hospice and Dr. Brian Anderson for their loving help and compassion, especially nurse, Kayla Dussliere and home health aide, Deb Rocha. Also, to Marge's good friend, Bev Brooks, for the time she spent every Tuesday sitting and visiting with her so we could have a few hours a week of free time.
