Funeral services for Margaret Baltzell, 102, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Mrs. Baltzell died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or Tudi's Tribe Foundation (for Kids with Cancer) . Margaret Dohogne was born July 16, 1910 in Pocahontas, AR, the daughter of William and Anna Dohogne. She married Percell Baltzell in 1929 in Benton, MO. He died December 11, 1965. She had worked as a LPN at the former East Moline State Hospital, for 21 years. She enjoyed reading and walking her dogs. She had been a lifetime St. Louis Cardinals Fan. Survivors include her sons, William Baltzell, Moline, Jan (Kathleen) Baltzell, East Moline, and Steve (Debra) Baltzell Huston, TX; 10 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Baker, MO, and Mary Ann Eifert, MO She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Dixie Matthews, a grandson, and a great-grandchild.
