Funeral services for Margaret Drobushevich, 97, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:30 AM Monday, March 30, 2026 at Divine Mercy Parish, Our Lady of Guadalupe Campus, Silvis. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 9-10 AM Monday prior to services at the Van Hoe Funeral Home. Mrs. Drobushevich passed way Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Silvis Care Center, Silvis.
Margaret Lambrecht was born April 5, 1928, in East Moline, the daughter of Cyriel and Bertha Goethals Lambrecht. She married George Drobushevich September 4, 1948, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, East Moline. He passed away September 16 1989.
She worked at the former International Harvester Company and Devitt’s Boot Shop, Moline. She was a charter member of the Illini Auxiliary and a member of the Lady Foresters and Circle 3 of St. Mary’s.
She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and enjoyed going to their sporting events. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially 500 with the Jolly Neighbors and the 510 Marathons.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Annette) Drobushevich, East Moline, and Linda (Mark) Hansen, Geneseo, IL; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Linda Lambrecht, AZ, and Dee Lambrecht, MI.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband son, Michael, and infant son; siblings, Helen Verstraete, George (Rachel) Lambrecht, Al Lambrecht, Gabrielle (Dwight) Dopler, and Ralph (Dee) Lambrecht.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Devine Mercy Parish, Our Lady of Guadalupe Campus.
