Funeral services for Margaret "Jane" England, 93, of Silvis, IL, will be 11:00 am Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 9-11 am prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Mrs. England died Monday, September 17, 2018, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis.

Jane Simpson was born April 23, 1925, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Jay Dwayne and Margaret Elizabeth Houston Simpson. She was a graduate of Port Byron High School. She married Robert V. England April 6, 1943, in East Moline. He died March 19, 1994. She retired from the John Deere Foundry, East Moline, in 1984 after 20 plus years of service. Jane had been a Sunday School teacher at Moline Gospel Temple for many years. She and her husband enjoyed wintering in Arizona. Her world revolved around her family, church, and helping others.

Survivors include her daughters, Sue Jungwirth, Carbon Cliff, IL, Deborah (David) Pellouchoud, Ruskin, FL, Wendy (Mike) Collins, Hampton, IL, and Laurie (Brian) Beard, East Moline; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Donald England; and brother, Frank Simpson.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to MGT New Hope Church, Moline.
