Margaret Laethem, 93, East Moline, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Funeral services are 9 AM Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline. Margaret Donahue was born June 26, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Lawrence and Jeanette (McClellan) Donahue. She married Albert Laethem on September 7, 1946 in Philadelphia. He died April 1, 2010. She retired from the payroll department of John Deere. Margaret enjoyed playing cards, dominos and had a hole in one golfing. Survivors include her children; Janet Laethem, Schaumburg, IL and Paul (Karen) Laethem, Moline, 5 grandchildren numerous Great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Tom. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy, East Moline.
