Funeral services for Margaret M. Logsdon, 96, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00AM Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL, where a rosary will be recited at 4:00PM. Mrs. Logsdon died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where she had been a longtime member. Margaret Smet was born July 13, 1913 in Belgium, the daughter of Isadore and Marie (Van De Broeck) Smet. She married Paul Logsdon in October of 1929. He died June 17, 1989. She had been a loving homemaker. She enjoyed making crafts and ceramics. She loved playing games, cards and bingo. Survivors include daughter, Jackie Boudreau of Silvis; son, Robert Logsdon of Silvis; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and one on the way.
