Funeral services for Margaret "Marg" McMillin, 93, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 3-7 PM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. Mrs. McMillin died Monday, August 27, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline. Margaret Van Hecke was born March 27, 1914 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Octave and Alice (Dhooge) VanHecke. She married Arthur McMillin June 16, 1938 in Rapids City, IL. He died August 12, 2003. Marg had worked at the Clairfield Dairy, Silvis, IL. She had been a member at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline for over 50 years. She had also been a member of the East End Club Auxiliary, the Vikings Club, Ladies Catholic Order of Foresters, and the AMVET Auxiliary. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, and playing rolle bolle. Marg had been a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Loding of East Moline, Janet and Casey Ronnebeck of East Moline; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Diane McMillin of Chicago, IL; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 great grandchildren, Reece and Owen Wallace, 2 brothers, Al and George Van Hecke, son-in-law, Perry Loding who died January 30, 2007.
