Funeral services for Margaret M. Mosley, 87, of Moline, IL, will be 3:00 pm Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation will be 1:30 pm until service time at the funeral home. Private committal services will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery. Mrs. Mosley died Saturday June 24, 2017, at her home. Margaret Palmeter was born November 4, 1929, in Galesburg, IL, the daughter of George and Faye Wenzel Palmeter. She married William M. Mosley in January 1956, in Galesburg. He died January 20, 1982. She worked at Geifman Foods, Kmart Foods, the Butterworth Center, Moline, and the Jane Adams School Program. She had owned and operated All Flags Co., Moline. Margaret enjoyed taking care of her bird "Cuppy." The most important part of her life was family. Survivors include her children, Mardeen (Burt) Stone, Moline, Marsha (Jerry) Irvine, Moline, Bill (Nancee) Mosley, Faribault, MN, Brian (Jill) Mosley, Visalia, CA, and Brent (Beth) Mosley, Moline; many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
