Funeral services for Margaret A. Zaerr, 71, of Carbon Cliff, IL, will be 10:00AM Tuesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 3:00-7:00PM Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Zaerr died Friday, May 7, 2010 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Memorials may be made to Trinity Pathway Hospice. Margaret Flynn was born May 1, 1939 in Ralls County, MO the daughter of Albert and Stella Whiltey Flynn. She married Charles "Rex" Zaerr November 30, 1974 in Bowling Green, MO. She had worked for the Moline Dispatch for many years. She enjoyed flower gardening and working in her yard. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Rex Zaerr of Carbon Cliff; daughter and sons-in-law, Roxanne and Jerry Freeman of Gladstone, MO, Sherry and James Cosselman of Princeton, IA, Sheila and Glenn Nichols of Monteplier, IA, Kimberly Hawkins of Parker, CO, Amanda Keep of FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Rocky and Jenny Howes of Hannibal, MO, Rusty and Glenda Howes of Colorado Springs, CO; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; her mother, Stella Stephens of Quincy, IL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Glenn Rupert of Peoria, IL, Janice and C.M. Benett of NC, Mary and Darrel Jackson of Palmyra, MO, Jean and Jack Lish of Barry, IL, Sue and Mel Ward of Kentland, IN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bud and Clara Flynn of Isabella, MO, Butch and Barb Flynn of Barry, Sam and Billy Pipkin of Quincy, IL, Ronald Pipkin of Quincy; and her special dog, "Drake".
