Margarita Tapia-Acosta, 48, East Moline, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Unity Point Rock Island. Visitation is 2-7PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, with a liturgy service to be held at 7PM. Memorials may be made to the family.

Margarita was born on September 14, 1965 in Mexico, the daughter of Procuro and Dolores Acosta Tapia. She was married to Hector Moreno.

Survivors include her children, Juan Carlos Moreno, Anna Y Moreno, Dolores D. Moreno, Miguel A Moreno and Hector M. Moreno, grandchildren, Ailin, Juan, Yuritzi, Magali and Yailynn, and siblings, Martin, Gilberto, Socorro, Gloria, Imelda and Josefina.
