Funeral services for Maria Ana Herrera, 76, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 am Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 3-8 pm Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 5pm. Maria died Friday, August 17, 2018, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. Maria was born March 27, 1942, in Rio Grande, Michoacan, Mexico, the daughter of Jose Maria Herrera and Maria Soledad Rodriguez. Survivors include her daughters, Monica and Maria Herrera, East Moline; siblings, Josefina, Juana, Guadalupe, and Luis Herrera all of Mexico, Jesus Herrera, East Moline, and Maria Carmen Ortiz Herrera, Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, a sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.
