Funeral services for Marian Allison, 77 Moline, are 11 AM Monday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 2 hours prior to the funeral at the church. Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to Christ the King Church. Mrs. Allison died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Marian Ware was born July 11, 1929 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Carl and Stella (Keefe) Ware. Marian graduated in 1947 from United Township High School, East Moline. She married Milo Allison, September 13, 1947. Mrs. Allison had worked as a dietician and cook at the former Lexington House in East Moline for 13 years. Marian was a loving wife and mother. She will be deeply missed. Those left to mourn her loss are her husband of 59 years, Milo, sons; Steve of Princeton, IA, Craig of Anderson SC, and Kevin of Moline, grandsons Boone, Tobin, Whitney and Carlin, a great grandson Bryce, nieces and nephews Brenda Woods, Fulton, Connie Shepherd, Clinton, IA, Jim Ware, Salem, OR, Sandra Rusk, Geneseo, Tom Ware, Silvis and Ted Ware, Colona.
