Funeral services for Marian E. Wallace, 97, East Moline, are 11 AM Saturday at Wildwood Baptist Church, East Moline. Burial is in Hampton Cemetery. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to Wildwood Baptist Church, where she was a member. Marian died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Genesis Medical Center- Illini Campus, Silvis. She was born February 19, 1914 in LaCrosse, WI, the daughter of Christian and Regina (Johnson) Larsen. She married Norman Wallace on December 25, 1933 in Des Moines, IA. He died October 3, 1952. Marian had worked at the former Moline Public Hospital and for 21 years at Buddy L Toy Co., East Moline. Marian had served on the Home and Mission Guild at Wildwood Church. She enjoyed sewing and doing crafts and loved time with her family. Survivors include her children and spouses; Robert and Gretchen Wallace, East Moline, Joanne and Bill Slayton, Ustis, FL, Judy and Russ Upton, Kansas City, MO, son-in-law (spouse) Gary (Shirley) Natwick, East Moline, twelve grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, sister-in-law Gwen Larsen, Des Moines, and special friends Shirley Newberg and Vickie Koker. She is preceded in death by her husband, daughter Carol Natwick, sister, Anita Hanover, brothers; Norman Larsen and Albert Larsen and a grandson Robert Sivertsen.
