Marie A. Thruman, 81, East Moline, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Genesis East, Davenport. At her request, her body will be cremated and there will be no services.

Marie Malatacca was born on October 14, 1939 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Giacoma and Antonetta (Mansella) Malatacca. She married Frank Thruman Sr. in 1959. He passed on September 2, 2005. Marie worked as a housekeeper for Friendship Village while living in Arizona. She was very proud of her family and dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children; Frank (Kathy) Thruman, Indianapolis, IN, Liz Thruman, East Moline, Jackie Schulte, TX, Steve Thruman, Silvis and Debbie (Jeremy) Neer, Littleton, CO, eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, her sister Phyllis, California, and dear friend, Shelva King.
