Funereal services for Marie Pearl Walker, 90, of Silvis, IL, will be 11:00 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Moline, IL. Visitation will be 9-11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Walker died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at Aspenwood Health care Center, Silvis, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Marie Thulen was born September 26, 1914 in Savanna, IL, the daughter of John and Bessie (Schuler) Thulen. She married Harold Walker. She retired from the Moline Holiday Inn after 28 years of service as a cook. She was a loving mother and grandmother, her family was her life. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Terri (Fletcher) and Frank Witucki of Pewaukee, WI; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Donna Walker of Dallas, GA,son-in-law, Martin York of Coal Valley, IL. She is preceded in death by daughters, Janice York, Lois Daniels, sons, Robert Walker, Ronald Walker, Harold Walker, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
