Marilyn A. Cain, 85, of Milan, IL and formerly of Moline, IL, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at Avonlea Cottage, Milan. Funeral services are 11:00 AM Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, Moline. Interment is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour before service time on Thursday, 10-11 AM at the Church. Memorials for Marilyn may be made to the family for a fund to be established. Marilyn A. Moses was born June 4, 1931, in Moline, IL, the daughter of John and Laura Roberts Moses. She married Richard D. Cain on June 22, 1951 in East Moline, IL. Marilyn was a hospital aide in the Neo-Natal Care Unit at the former, Lutheran Hospital, Moline and the receptionist at Lutheran School of Nursing. Marilyn enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of East Moline Four Square Church and Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. She is survived by daughters and (spouse), Susan (David) Griffis, Albuquerque, NM and Jan (Karl) Herrick, Hampton IL; son and (spouse), Rick (Isabel) Cain of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren; and ten great grand children.
