Funeral services for Marilyn J. " Mom Sellers" Larson, 84, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00 am Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 1:00 pm. Mrs. Larson died Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Aspen Health Care. Marilyn Neff was born April 9, 1933, in Moline, IL, the daughter of William and Lorene Decker Neff. She married Perry C. Sellers July 21, 1951. He died January 31, 1987. She later married Carl V. Larson February 6, 1988. He died October 2, 2003. She worked at Miracle Water, Davenport. Marilyn was Mom or Grandma to everyone she met. In her earlier years she had been active in local politics. She enjoyed playing Yatzee, bingo and playing cards. She loved doing activities at Aspen. Survivors include her children: Cynthia Rose (Raymond) Zaragoza, Moline, Jody Lynn (Mike) Smith, SC, Kerry Duane (Kathy) Sellers, Le Claire, IA, Lisa Anne (Kollin) Michaels, East Moline and Matthew Allen Sellers (Dee St John), East Moline; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; siblings, Chuck R. (Delores) Neff, East Moline, Larry J. (Jan) East Moline, East Moline, Kitty Rose Walker, CO, and Cheryl Karben, East Moline; sister-in-law, Pam Neff, Bettendorf, IA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son, Perry Mitchell Sellers, siblings, Pat A. Green, Bob and Dennis Neff, sister-in-law, Pat Neff, brothers-in-law, Harry Walker and Jim Karben. Memorials may be made to the Activity Fund at Aspen Health Care. The family would like to thank the staff at Aspen Health Care for their excellent care, and a special thanks to the Activity Director, Kayla Schram.
