Marion was born October 30, 1925, in Silvis, IL, a daughter of Adella and Octaviano Trujillo. Along with her beloved sister Josie, she worked for many years at the Buddy L Toy Factory and the Moline Public Hospital.
Marion was a mother of unconditional love. She was a devoted wife to Leonard Flores, and later to William P. Duarte. In the early years, weekends and holidays were spent with her mother and father, and siblings and their children. Over the years, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, movies, and her puzzles and was a stylish dresser. Faith was essential. Marion was strong, honest, and hardworking and led a long and good life, one that inspired goodness and kindness.
