Funeral services for Marjorie L. Fowler, 86, East Moline, are 10 AM Saturday, January 1, 2010 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Friday at the funeral home. Private committal services will be at a later date. A memorial fund has been established. Marjorie passed Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. She was born August 30, 1924 in Cambridge, IL, the daughter of Julius and Selma (Claeys) Williams. She graduated from Cambridge High School and from Rock Island School of Beauty Culture. She married Francis VanOverberg and later married Arnold Fowler. Marjorie had worked at various beauty shops and had a shop in her home. She lived at Colona House in East Moline and considered her lunch and coffee group as family. Survivors include her daughters; Carol (Martin) Andrews, East Moline, and Betty J. "B.J" Logue, Moline, step-daughter, Robyn Fowler-Plantakis, CA, grandsons; Michael (Tracy) Logue and Collin Andrews, great grandchildren; Justin and Kelsey Goldsberry, a great great grandson Korbin Logue, her three little angels who gave her great joy; Kylie, Mykel and Faith, sisters; Dorothy Maes, St. Petersburg, FL and Ruth Ann Flemming, Geneseo and brothers; Raymond (Joan) Williams, East Moline and J.C. (Jeannie) Williams, Geneseo. She is preceded in death by her daughter Jane Fowler-Walewski.
