Funeral services for Marjorie Pasturczak, 97, formerly of East Moline, are 2PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the Crippled Children's Fund or 1st Christian Church, East Moline, where she was a member. Marjorie died Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. She was born August 4, 1911 in Bessie, ND, the daughter of Frank and Florence (Palmer) Foster. She married Stanley Pasturczak on September 28, 1935 in Galena, IL. He died in 1987. She was a member of the East Moline Woman's Club and served on the Library Board. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and crafts. Most of all Marjorie enjoyed being with her family. Survivors include her sister Ann of Sharpsburg, GA, brother Neil Foster, Henderson, NV a brother-in-law Victor Pasturczak, East Moline and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by sisters Elinor Wittman and Geneveria Halvorson and a brother Frank Foster.
