Mark A. Blubaugh, 56, East Moline, passed away on Monday November 11, 2013 at Trinity Unity Point, Rock Island after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Memorial services are 2PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to Unity Point Hospice. Mark was born on June 13, 1957 in Moline, the son of Ward and Darlene (Newberg) Blubaugh. He was part of the UTHS, class of 1975. Mark worked at John Deere Harvester, East Moline, until his health issues forced his early retirement. He enjoyed boating, fishing, yard work and traveling. Survivors include his father Ward, East Moline, sister, Debbie (Lamont) Littlefield, Galesburg, IL, nieces, Danielle (Jason) Reid, Galesburg and Dana (John) O'Connor, Naperville and great nephews, Bryce and Seth Reid and Liam O'Connor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene who died November 4, 2008.
