Mark Alan Brooks, 65, of East Moline, IL, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 1, 2022, at his brother's home, surrounded by family. There will be no services as per Mark's wishes.

Mark was born May 10, 1957, in Manistique, MI, the son of Kenneth and Anne (Masschelin) Brooks. Mark was a graduate of United Township High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves. He had worked as a millwright at ALCOA and the Rock Island Arsenal, where he retired in 2018. He was a loving father and papa. He adored his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Jacob (Rachel) Brooks, Milan, IL, and Jessica Brooks, East Moline; grandchildren, Melody and Zoey; brothers, Ken (Barb) Brooks, East Moline and Jack (Mary Lou) Brooks, Melbourne, FL; a niece and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
