Mark A. Jackson, 59, East Moline, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his home. A memorial visitation will be from 2-4 PM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. A brief service and a time of sharing will begin at 4PM.  In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Animal Aid Humane Society, Moline.

Mark was born on August 15, 1959 in Rock Island, the son of Theodore and Elizabeth (Stauduhar) Jackson. He graduated from UTHS class of 1977. He received his Business Degree from University of Southern Mississippi Hattiesburg in 1982 and his Juris Doctor in 1985 from the University of Mississippi. Mark did an internship with the States Attorney office in Mississippi before returning home to join his father at Jackson Pulsifer and Jackson Law. After his father's death he became sole proprietor of Jackson Law. Mark held many memberships through the years including the Rock Island County Bar Association. He married Nancy Dennis on March 14, 1987 in Las Vegas, NV.

Survivors include his wife Nancy, son Jason Dennis (Devontae), Chicago, brother Curt (Teresa) Jackson, East Moline, sister, Roxanne (Jeff) Turner, Durant, IA and sister-in-law Lauri Jackson, East Moline and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tim and infant brother Tom.
