Funeral services for Mark L. Rasso, 51, Rock Island, are 10 AM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation is 2-5PM Sunday at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 4:30PM. Mark died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at his home. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline or to the American Heart Association. Mark was born October 9, 1957 in Moline, the son of Joseph and Carmen (Ramirez) Rasso. He enjoyed painting and drawing and loved music and playing the guitar. Survivors include his son Jeremy of Eau Claire, WI, brothers and sisters; Alfredo of East Moline, Mary Beserra of Orion, IL, Rudolpho, of Rock Island, Alice Lopez, of Moline, George of East Moline, Linda Martinez of East Moline, Antonio of Silvis, Lawrence of Hampton and Vincent of Rock Island and many nieces and nephews. Mark is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Eva and Valentina.
