Marlene Hetherington, 81, Moline, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. The family will greet friends from 10 AM until service time.

Marlene was born on February 12, 1937 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. She worked for Sears and retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 2007. Marlene was a member of Christ the King. She enjoyed painting and flower gardening.

Survivors include her children, Janine Lackman, Greg Stemper and David Teckam, five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude and Bill Hetherington.
