Martha "Ilene" Hubbard joined her loved ones in heaven on April 11, 2005. She was a resident at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation of East Moline, IL for 3 years. Funeral services are 11 AM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 9:30- 11:00 AM Thursday morning at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Ilene was born on April 23, 1919 in La Follette, TN to Marcus and Kay (Ragel) Davis. She later moved to Illinois with her two beloved sons Jimmy and Kyle Puckett. She later married Archie Kinman and took very good care of him until his death. Ilene was a very independent woman and worked out of her home in Silvis, IL as a massage therapist for many, many years. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church, Moline for many years. She married George Hubbard Jr., In 1985. He preceded her in death in November of 2001. Ilene enjoyed many things in life, such as church, gardening, listening to old music, eating healthy, swimming at the YWCA, owls, making homemade ice cream with her grandchildren in her younger years. She mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Those left to honor her memory are grandsons; Dallas and Tim Puckett, Milan, IL, Taurus and Scott Puckett, Davenport, IA; granddaughter, Dawn (Ryan) Pitts and their 5 children, Cory, Rachel, Hanna, Logan and Lexi of Dixon, IA, daughter-in-law, Vivian Puckett, Milan, IL; brother, Marvin (Betty) Davis, TN and sisters Mildred Sweat, TN; sister, Edna English, California; great granddaughter, Tyra Puckett and daughter. Also surviving are her beloved granddaughter, Gail Johansons' husband, David and their children, Stephanie and Stephen of Aledo, IL; 4 stepdaughters, 2 stepsons; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Puckett April of 1975 and granddaughter, Gail Johanson in February 21, 2005. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.vanhoe.com.
