Martha J. "Martty" Lamb, 73, Moline, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at her home. Funeral services are 9AM Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Friday, September 2, 2016 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Martty was born on December 7, 1942 in Moline, the daughter of Paul and Edna (Hart) Versluis. She married Ronald Lamb in 1962, and together they had 2 children. She had worked as a dispatcher for the Quad City Airport Fire and Police. She was a member of the Moline Viking Club, enjoyed playing cards at Moline Township Activity Center (MAC) and deary loved her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter; Jennifer (Gerald) Gomm, Shiocton, WI, grandchildren; Audra Wilson (Matt Hoffman), Dora Gomm, Charles Gomm and Ronald Gomm, siblings; Jim (Pat) Versluis, East Moline and Tony (Mert) McClure, many special family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, James Darryn Lamb.
