Martha M. Rasso, 74, of Moline, IL, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at UnityPoint – Trinity Rock Island, IL. A Celebration of Life or in Martha's words a "Party" will be held at Moline Vikings Club on May 18th from noon to 4 PM.

Martha Schoonover was born September 18, 1949, in Washington, IA, the daughter of Norman and Maranda Martin Schoonover.

She married Terry Rasso October 20, 2001, in Washington.

She worked at the former Red Jacket Davenport and later retired from John Deere Davenport Works.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her life revolved around her family, especially "her babies" Avery and Riley.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Rasso, LaSalle, IL; sons, Scott Goettsch (Ronda Burchette) Eldridge, IA, and Matthew (Dawn) Schlapia, Moline; step children, Tracey (Mike) Gowdy, Rock Island, Heather Wangler, Rock Island, and Eric (Kristy) Rasso, Moline; grandchildren, Julia, Jackson, Olivia, Avery and Riley; several step grandchildren; and siblings, Jacqueline "Jackie" Schoonover, CO, Sara (Hal) Machael, Maquoketa, IA, Eric (Diana) Schoonover, Washington, and Norman "Bub" (Cheryl)Schoonover, OK; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents a granddaughter, Abby.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family in care of Matthew Schlapia.
