Marvin D. Cullen, 78, Taylor Ridge, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Memorial services are 6PM Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Van Hoe Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4PM until service time. Private inurnment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Marvin was born on December 15, 1937 in Seymour, IA, the son of Dean and Jennie(McNamer) Cullen. He served in the US Navy. Marvin retired from International Harvester Farmall, Rock Island. He married Lynna Mae Kihler on February 8, 1958 in East Moline. She died November 18, 2015. Mr. Cullen enjoyed boating fishing and hunting. He had been a member of Whitewater Ministries, the American Legion and the Elks Club in Texas. Survivors include his children, Lauri Jackson, East Moline and Scott (Cindy) Cullen, Taylor Ridge, grandchildren, Aaron Jackson, Christopher Jackson and Taylor Cullen, and a sister Jane Krack. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and son-in-law Timothy Jackson.
