Funeral services for Mary Josephine "Mary Jo" Anderson, 87, of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00AM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. Anderson died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Hospice Compasus. Mary Jo Cooper was born February 20, 1923 in Rock Island, IL the daughter of Joel and Evelyn Miller Cooper Sr. She married Donald Anderson August 5, 1965 in Moline, IL. He died May 13, 1976. She had worked at the Red Carpet Club in Moline. Survivors include her sisters and brothers-in-law, Marlene and Ralph Brown of East Moline, Nancy Jacobson of Burbank, CA, Susan and Larry MacDonald of Barstow, CA; sister-in-law, Marjorie Cooper of Rock Island, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Joel and Charles Cooper.
