Funeral services for Mary A. Creasey, 66, of Sherrard, IL, formerly of LeClaire, IA, will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Creasey died Friday, May 20, 2005 in West Burlington, IA, as a result of injuries incurred from an automobile accident. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Mary Truitt was born February 19, 1939 in Excelsior Springs, MO, the daughter of Clarence and Ada (Ellsworth) Truitt. She married Wayne E. Creasey, December 30, 1956. He died July 19, 1996. Mary had sold Avon for 34 years. She collected Angels and Dolls. She loved cats. Survivors include: son, Wayne Creasey of Sherrard, IL; sister; Vera Fox of Queen City, MO; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Winnie Truitt of Chesapeake, VA; her dear companion, Harry Roland of Sherrard, IL.
