Funeral services for Mary M. Dinneweth, 87, East Moline, are 10 AM Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Visitation is 5-7 PM Thursday (Today) at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Mrs. Dinneweth died Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at her home. Memorials may be made to the Monsignor William J. Cleary Endowment Fund. Mary was born September 16, 1918 in Zuma Township, IL, the daughter of Oscar and Lucy (DeVos) Veryzer. She married Robert V. Dinneweth, June 24, 1939 in East Moline. He died March 3, 1991. Mary retired from the former Y&S Candies, Moline in 1982. She enjoyed working in her yard, playing cards, and going to the Riverboats. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Diane and Dick Carter, Silvis, sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Louise Dinneweth, Havasu City, AZ and Rene and Judy Dinneweth, Moline, three grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a sister Val McCandless, East Moline and special sisters-in-law Ann Cirivello and Shirley Veryzer.
