Funeral services for Mary E. Green, 97, of Silvis, IL, formerly, of Garden Grove, CA, will be 9:30AM Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, IL. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 8:30-9:00 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Mrs. Green died Wednesday, November 01, 2006 at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Silvis, IL. Mary was born August 17, 1909 in Hampton Township, IL, the daughter of August and Emma (DeVoss) DePaepe. She married Harold Martin in 1934. He died February 4, 1960. She later married Orville Green July 3, 1964 in Garden Grove, CA. He died September 13, 1988. She had been a long time member of St. Columbia Catholic Church in Garden Grove, CA. Survivors include: brother-in-law, Lee Carroll of Silvis, IL; nephew (spouse) Charles (Mary) Carroll of Algonquin, IL; great nephew, John Carroll of Davenport, IA.
